Heartwood Retreat Center is a 7 acre holistic retreat site that features yoga oriented retreats, workshop, trainings and programs to promote personal growth and self awareness. Art, nature, creativity, writing, and organic lifestyles are celebrated through  yoga, ayurveda, reiki, holistic and organic programs and writing. Heartwood is also a popular wedding venue as well and features several farm to table dinners each year and a yearly yoga festival. Heartwood has a 2600 square foot yoga center featuring a holistic library, tearoom, and yoga studio with a outdoor practice area with a zen firepitfor outdoor inspiration. A gorgeous wedding arbor and walkway as well as a 20 by 40 foot event tent with dance floor and seating for 120 welcomes ceremonies and meetings of many kinds. the 1/4 acre Chakra Garden celebrates the 7 primary energy centers of the body with blooming plants, colors, art, and herbs to stimulate the senses. Beautifully lit with solar lights at night, visitors enjoy pausing on the 12 meditation benches or lingering past the koi pond, arbors, journaling table or other areas of the garden. A glass bottle garden reminds us to be reflective in nature, and other inviting areas of Heartwood soothe the soul and help us connect to our best selves.
